A year of use, four seasons
The operator has slept on a Snuuzu Model Y since 2025. In the one-year video of 11 May 2026, the firmness is set from the bed with the pump docked in its pocket, the mattress shows no overnight sinking, and it packs into its attached bag without fuss.
Havnby FlatCore
Full width for two
The operator bought a FlatCore and a FlatCore Solo. In the video of 15 July 2026, two adults need the FlatCore’s full width, and with it in place there is no lane left for bags: luggage goes under the seatbacks or in the front trunk.

Snuuzu Model Y
Foam mattress over a shaped air layer
Snuuzu stacks a Tencel topper, comfort foam and 3D air mesh on top of a shaped air layer. Snuuzu says the air layer fills the seat-to-trunk step, and you set the firmness with the pump.
Havnby FlatCore
One 7.9–19 cm contoured body
Havnby shapes the whole mattress: thick over the folded seatbacks, thin over the trunk floor. The level surface comes from the cut, not from adjusting air.
Either mattress lifts you closer to the roof and hatch glass, so sitting up and changing clothes take more care. Neither levels the car itself: park on reasonably level ground.

Snuuzu is 12 cm longer, which matters for tall sleepers once a pillow is down. It rolls into a long, narrow bag that stays attached to the mattress.
Havnby FlatCore
193 × 132 cm, packs to 67 × 43 cm
FlatCore is 2 cm wider and packs shorter but wider. At 5.1 kg it is also the easier one to carry between car and house.
The hatch curve, the pillow and the front-seat position all take length away. Tall sleepers should measure with the hatch closed. Measure your storage space too, including the sheet, pillows and cables.

Snuuzu’s pump inflates, deflates and sets the firmness with no cable to the car. Charge it before the trip and pack the USB-C cable. The EU box includes a spare pump; check what your region’s box contains.
Havnby FlatCore
Built-in 12V pump
FlatCore’s pump is part of the mattress and runs from the car’s 12V socket, so there is no pump battery to charge. The cable must reach the socket without being pinched.
Havnby quotes 80 seconds to inflate and 90 to deflate; Snuuzu quotes under two minutes. Both are seller figures.

The extra money buys 12 cm more length, a deeper foam top layer, a washable Tencel topper, a pump you can charge or replace on its own, and replacement parts on request. FlatCore answers with a lower price, half the weight, a 60-day trial and a published 300 kg load rating.
We think Snuuzu is worth the premium for anyone who camps often. If you camp a few nights a year or want to try before you commit, FlatCore is the sensible buy.
