What this comparison can and cannot establish
This comparison uses current seller specifications and attributed public sources. We have not completed a matched hands-on test of both products, so unmeasured fit, comfort, noise and durability remain unknown.
The measurable choice is longer length and USB-C versus lower price and 12V power.
Snuuzu lists a 205 cm surface, rechargeable USB-C pump, washable Lyocell cover and integrated storage at $899 or €899. Havnby FlatCore was listed at $599 on 23 July 2026 and publishes a contoured profile, built-in 12V pump and 60-day trial. We have not run a controlled comfort test, so neither product is a universal comfort winner.
Snuuzu vs Havnby specifications
Both products combine foam and air, but the similarity ends there. Snuuzu uses a layered comfort system over an adjustable surface-smoothing air section. FlatCore uses a shaped profile that is thickest where the folded Model Y seats need support. The figures below come from the current manufacturer pages and were checked on 23 July 2026.

The recorded list-price gap changes the decision
At the 23 July 2026 check, Havnby’s $599 list price was $300 below Snuuzu’s $899 US price.
This comparison uses Havnby’s $599 list price observed on 23 July 2026 and subtracts no Havnby code. Compare delivered totals—including shipping, tax and currency—before deciding.
Snuuzu uses more of the budget on a long sleep surface, washable Lyocell cover, integrated storage design, rechargeable pump and replaceable-part promise. Havnby counters with lower entry cost, a published trial and a product that weighs less on the seller specification sheet. A frequent camper may value Snuuzu’s all-in-one packing method. An occasional camper may find FlatCore easier to justify.
Leveling approach and remaining headroom
A folded Model Y cargo floor slopes and changes height. Both products address that geometry, but they do it differently. Snuuzu places an adjustable air layer below the comfort foam. Havnby uses a contoured shape that reaches 19 cm at its thickest point and 7.9 cm at its thinnest.
The deeper end of either mattress brings the sleeper closer to the roof and hatch glass. That matters for sitting up, changing clothes and moving from side to side. Havnby’s level-surface claim should not be confused with automatically leveling the whole vehicle on uneven ground. Snuuzu also smooths the cargo-floor transition, but neither product replaces safe parking on a reasonably level site.
Pump power: rechargeable USB-C or the car’s 12V outlet
Snuuzu’s removable rechargeable pump keeps the setup independent of a trailing 12V cable. The tradeoff is battery management. The pump should be charged before leaving, and the USB-C cable belongs in the trip kit. The European product page currently states that newer packages include a spare rechargeable pump; confirm the contents in the selected region before ordering.
FlatCore uses a built-in 12V pump. It removes the separate charging routine, but setup depends on reaching the correct vehicle outlet and routing the cable without pinching it. Havnby quotes 80 seconds for inflation and 90 seconds for deflation. Snuuzu quotes under two minutes. These are seller claims, not timings recorded by TeslaMattress.
Couples, tall sleepers and storage
Snuuzu publishes 11 cm more length, while Havnby publishes 2 cm more width. Neither number guarantees usable body room because the hatch curve, pillow position and front-seat placement remove space. Tall sleepers should test their actual parked layout and close the hatch during the measurement. Couples should compare shoulder room at the narrowest part of the car rather than treating either product as a domestic double bed.
The packed shapes also differ. Snuuzu lists 74 × 32 cm and says the integrated bag fits Tesla storage areas. Havnby lists 67 × 43 cm. A longer, narrower roll may fit one compartment better than a shorter, wider package. Measure the intended storage space and include the sheet, pillows, charging cable and privacy screens.
Warranty, trial and opened-product risk
Both manufacturers advertise three-year warranties. Havnby also advertises a 60-day sleep trial. The current Snuuzu terms restrict used or unsealed mattress returns for hygiene reasons, and return shipping is generally paid by the customer unless the seller made the error. Read the exact regional policy before opening either product because a headline trial does not explain every eligibility condition.
Document the delivered condition, keep the packaging and test vehicle fit promptly. Warranty coverage addresses qualifying defects; it is not the same as a comfort guarantee.
Which should you buy?
Choose Snuuzu when
- You need Snuuzu’s seller-published 205 cm sleeping length rather than FlatCore’s 193 cm, after allowing for pillow position and the hatch curve.
- You prefer Snuuzu’s removable pump, which recharges by USB-C, and can keep it charged rather than routing FlatCore’s cable to a 12V outlet.
- You are willing to pay more for Snuuzu’s removable Tencel/Lyocell cover, its published 30°C wash routine and seller-listed replacement covers, pumps and charging accessories.
- After measuring your intended storage compartment, Snuuzu’s seller-listed 74 × 32 cm packed format fits it better than FlatCore’s seller-listed 67 × 43 cm format.

Frequently asked questions
Is Snuuzu worth the extra money over Havnby?
Snuuzu can justify the higher price for buyers who value its 205 cm surface, rechargeable USB-C pump, washable Lyocell cover and integrated packing system. Havnby FlatCore has the stronger price case at $599 and adds a published 60-day sleep trial.
Which is flatter, Snuuzu or Havnby FlatCore?
Both products are designed to reduce the folded-seat slope, but their methods differ. Snuuzu uses an adjustable surface-smoothing air layer. Havnby uses a shaped profile that reaches 19 cm at its thickest point. Neither product levels the entire car on uneven ground.
Which is better for tall Tesla Model Y sleepers?
Snuuzu publishes a 205 cm surface and Havnby publishes 193 cm. Usable length also depends on pillow position, hatch shape and front-seat placement, so tall sleepers should measure the complete parked setup.
Do Snuuzu and Havnby both fit the Model Y Juniper?
Both current sellers provide Juniper-compatible Model Y options. Snuuzu states that its Model Y mattress fits all Model Y versions. Havnby separates 2020–2024 and 2025–2026 choices, so select the exact year range.
