How to Choose Between Tesla Mattresses

Choosing the right Tesla camping mattress depends on three things: how often you camp, your budget, and which Tesla you drive. Our side-by-side comparisons above break down the differences in comfort, build quality, setup ease, and value so you can make an informed decision.

Price vs. Comfort Tradeoff

Tesla mattresses range from $139 (TESMAT Solo) to €899 (Snuuzu). The premium options use multi-layer foam or air-foam hybrids that level the seat fold, while budget mattresses are single-layer foam pads. If you camp more than 5 nights per year, the mid-range ($300-400) options like Havnby Autolevel or TESMAT Luxe offer the best balance of comfort and value. For serious road-trippers doing 10+ nights, the Snuuzu is worth the investment.

Air vs. Foam vs. Hybrid

Pure foam mattresses (Havnby Foam, TESMAT Solo) are the simplest β€” unroll, sleep, done. Air-foam hybrids (Havnby Autolevel, NovaPads) use an air chamber to level the slope and foam on top for comfort. Pure foam with leveling tech (Snuuzu) uses layered foam densities instead of air. Each approach has tradeoffs: air chambers can deflate, pure foam is heavier, and hybrids offer the best of both worlds at a moderate price.

Not sure where to start? Our most popular comparison is Snuuzu vs TESMAT, which covers the premium vs. mid-range decision most buyers face.
