Our Mission

Tesla Mattress Guide is an independent research site for Tesla camping mattresses. Analyses use linked manufacturer specifications, model-specific fit reasoning, dated prices and attributed patterns in published owner feedback. Seller claims stay labelled, unknown fields stay unknown, and secondary research is never presented as hands-on testing.

Unlike manufacturer-controlled content, we have no obligation to any brand. Our conclusions reflect the evidence we can verify, and we update analyses as products evolve.

Our Research Process

Every mattress we review goes through the same research protocol:

• Published-spec checks: Each specification we reproduce is tied to a current seller or manufacturer source; omitted fields remain explicitly unknown
• Fit analysis: Published product dimensions are compared with the stated Tesla model, year range and cabin constraints without turning that comparison into a hands-on fit test
• Owner-report synthesis: Attributed owner reports are used as context, with recurring themes kept separate from measured facts
• Price and code records: Product prices are dated snapshots, while discount pages preserve the actual checkout-check date and downgrade stale evidence automatically
• Corrections and updates: Source, fit or status changes trigger an editorial revision; readers can report an error directly to the editor

We compare five evidence areas: comfort claims and owner reports, construction, vehicle-specific fit, setup, and dated value. Missing evidence remains visible instead of being converted into a score.

Who's Behind Tesla Mattress?

I'm Fredrik Mastouri, the editor behind Tesla Mattress Guide. This site started as a research project: Tesla camping had exploded in popularity, but reliable information about which mattresses fit which models was scattered across forum threads, spec sheets and marketing pages.

Collecting, cross-checking, and organizing that information, spec by spec and owner report by owner report, turned into this site.

Today the work follows a documented editorial routine: checking the manufacturer specifications we reproduce, reading attributed owner reports and recording prices and code tests with their actual check dates. Copy edits do not move those evidence dates, and unknowns remain unknown until a source changes.

I use "we" throughout the site because Tesla Mattress Guide runs as an editorial project rather than a personal blog. The goal stays the same either way: helping you find the right mattress for your Tesla while making the evidence limits visible.

To date, we've:

• Maintain 19 detailed Tesla-mattress research pages plus one separate camping-box analysis
• Cross-check public owner feedback against current manufacturer listings
• Separate seller claims, owner reports and editorial conclusions
• Publish partner-code pages only with an explicit recorded check date and status
• Keep every product page labelled as secondary research until it completes our physical test protocol
