About Tesla Mattress Guide

Our mission

To put in one place which mattress fits which Tesla, what it cost on a given date and what the evidence does and does not show. No brand approves a page before it is published, and we update a page when a product, price or policy changes.

How we research

Every mattress gets the same routine. We check each spec against a linked seller source, compare fit with the Tesla model it is sold for, attribute owner reports and date every price and code. The methodology page explains the five evidence areas, how Our rating is set and the limits of the method.

How we are funded

The site earns affiliate commissions. When you buy through one of our links or use a partner code, the seller pays us a share at no extra cost to you. Snuuzu (code AWDCAMPER) and Havnby (code AWD) pay us, as do the other brands on our discount codes page. The AWD Camper channel uses the same codes.

Our editorial rules: we take no payment for reviews, no brand approves a page before it goes live, we do not remove criticism on request, and every page with a partner link says so before the first link. Snuuzu and Havnby, the two brands at the top of Our rating, make the mattresses the operator owns, and both pay us a commission. Read the rating with that in mind.

Who is behind the site

I’m Fredrik Mastouri. I run Tesla Mattress Guide and the AWD Camper YouTube channel, where I review Tesla camping gear, including the mattresses I own and use in my own Model Y. I started the site because the facts on which mattress fits which Tesla were spread across forum threads, spec sheets and marketing pages.

Routine

I check each spec we reproduce against the seller’s own page, read attributed owner reports, and record every price and code result with the date I saw it. Copy edits do not move those dates. Unknowns stay unknown until a source changes.

Owner experience

Snuuzu Model Y: bought in 2025, with Norwegian import charges paid, and used through all four seasons; one-year video review, 11 May 2026. Havnby FlatCore Model Y and FlatCore Solo: bought, not loaned; first-night video and a side-by-side comparison, 15 July 2026. Every other product on the site is a research review. The videos report one owner’s experience, not lab measurements.

Why “we”

I use “we” because the site runs as an editorial project, not a personal blog. The aim is the same either way: help you find the right mattress for your Tesla and show where the evidence stops.

To date, we:

• Maintain 30 reviews: the 16 mattresses in our comparison table, plus front-seat, third-row and Cybertruck pads, partner ranges and accessories
• Cross-check public owner feedback against current manufacturer listings
• Separate seller claims, owner reports and editorial conclusions
• Publish partner-code pages only with an explicit recorded check date and status
• Label the three mattresses the operator owns as owner-tested, and every other product as a research review until it completes our physical test protocol
