What the operator’s own purchase showed

The operator of this site runs the AWD Camper YouTube channel. He bought a FlatCore Model Y and a FlatCore Solo. Havnby did not lend them. The channel uses the same partner code as this site. His first-night review of the Solo and his Solo vs Full Size video were published on 15 July 2026.

• Havnby support answered his questions before he bought.
• The parcel to Norway arrived at the post office within days. He calls it the fastest delivery of the brands he has bought from.
• The box held the mattress in a plastic bag, a carry bag and a fitted sheet. He calls the packaging fair for the price range.
• He still keeps both mattresses: the Solo for a trip alone with a lot of gear, the full width for two people.

The videos show one owner and one order. They do not show the service that other buyers get. The FlatCore review and the FlatCore Solo review summarise both videos next to Havnby’s specifications.

Havnby reviews and Reddit

On 1 October 2026, the FlatCore Model Y product page showed 30 reviews in its review widget. Havnby runs that widget on its own store, so the count is not an independent source. Reddit and Trustpilot blocked our checking tools on 1 October 2026, so this page gives no count or score from them.

Where Havnby’s own pages disagree

• Opened-return feeThe returns page lists $15 for an opened mattress and $30 for a stained one. The refund policy lists $10 for light use and $20 for visible wear, and adds a $30 handling fee if Havnby makes the return label.
• Warranty lengthThe contact page still says 5 years. The warranty page says 3 years for orders from 1 June 2026.
• Compare-at priceThe FlatCore product data shows a $509 compare-at price, below the $549 price.

These differences are a reason to ask questions in writing. They are not evidence of fraud.

Before you buy: checklist

• Ask support@havnby.com in writing which opened-return fee applies to your order.
• Pick the right Model Y year range, 2020–2024 or 2025–2026, on the FlatCore page.
• Ask whether your item ships from a local warehouse or from Asia.
• Buy from havnby.com or an authorized seller. The warranty excludes second-hand purchases and unauthorized sellers.
• Keep your proof of purchase. A warranty claim needs the order number and photos or video of the defect.
• Inflate the mattress at home inside the 60-day trial, before your first trip.
