TESMAG Tesla Mattress Range Review

TESMAG lists two complete Tesla mattresses: a NOK 1,596 front-seat air bed and a NOK 2,722 rear foam bed, both marked InStock without quantities on 19 August 2026. The front-seat product is strictly for parked use only. The foam selector's “Model Y 2017–2024” label is erroneous, and a separate gap-filler is excluded.

What the evidence can prove: Source-based catalogue — no score

Seller listing for live verification:

High confidence in official product identities, merchant variant IDs, dated localized prices, InStock booleans, front-seat dimensions and gallery-stated foam dimensions. Lower confidence in exact quantity, refresh fit, regional pump hardware, package contents and durability. The Model Y 2017 label conflicts with TESMAG's own navigation and the vehicle timeline. No score is assigned.

TESMAG's official store lists two complete Tesla sleep products: a NOK 1,596 front-seat air mattress for Model 3 Highland, Model Y Juniper and Model YL, and a NOK 2,722 non-inflatable 5.5 cm foam mattress with Model 3, Model Y and shared Highland/Juniper selectors. Both were marked InStock on 19 August 2026, without quantities. The front-seat product is for parked use only—never occupy it while the vehicle moves. The foam listing incorrectly labels Model Y as 2017–2024 and reuses SKUs across variants. A separate gap-filler is excluded because it is not a complete mattress. No score or hands-on claim is made.

Practical ownership review

Six checks before you buy

TESMAG's official mattress search resolves to two complete Tesla sleep products: a front-seat air mattress and a rear non-inflatable foam mattress. Both had InStock flags without quantities. A separate gap-extension accessory is excluded, and the foam selector's Model Y 2017 start date is treated as an error.

  1. 01Packing and cargo space

The front-seat product folds down, but no packed dimensions, weight or reliable complete box list is published beyond the mattress and pump. The foam mattress rolls and official graphics depict a tote bag, bed cover, support plate and eye mask; confirm those items for the exact variant because the prose lacks a formal manifest.

  2. 02Fabric, foam and build quality

TESMAG identifies the front-seat mattress as high-density PVC. The rear mattress uses seller-described 45D high-density MDI sponge with a removable zip cover. PVC thickness, cover fibre, foam certification, abrasion data, wash temperature and load limits are unpublished.

  3. 03Pump, power and setup

The front-seat mattress includes an external electric pump with US, EU or UK style selectors, but voltage, wattage, cable length, pressure and setup time are missing. The foam mattress is non-inflatable and needs no pump.

  4. 04Sleep quality and support

The front-seat surface is 146 × 78 cm and is for parked use only; it blocks driving controls and must never be occupied while the vehicle moves. Seller graphics give 188 cm legacy Model 3 and 192 cm earlier-Model-Y foam lengths, both 5.5 cm thick, but provide no dedicated dimensions for the shared Highland/Juniper row.

  5. 05Cleaning, moisture and storage

TESMAG publishes 30-day returns for unused goods in original packaging and a separate 14-day EU withdrawal page. Change-of-mind freight and customs are normally buyer-paid. Confirm whether inflation or installation affects unused condition; no mattress-specific warranty or complete care routine was found.

  6. 06What remains unresolved

Unsafe merchant driving language, no exact stock quantities, reused SKUs, a false 2017 Model Y label, sparse pump and warranty data, and ambiguous written package contents.

How many complete Tesla mattresses does TESMAG sell?

TESMAG currently lists two complete Tesla mattresses: a front-seat inflatable bed and a rear-cabin non-inflatable foam bed. Its search also contains “Camping Extended Folding Mattresses,” but the official description says that product bridges the gap between a separate trunk mattress and the seats. It is an extension accessory, not a complete sleep surface, and is excluded.

We checked TESMAG's official store at the misspelled domain teslaacessories.com, its variant data, gallery specifications and policies on 19 August 2026. We did not order, inflate, measure or sleep on either product. NOK prices and InStock flags are dated localized-store observations, not exact inventory counts or permanent offers.

Safety boundary: parked use only

The front-seat mattress must be installed and occupied only while the vehicle is safely parked. Never let an adult, child or pet occupy it while the vehicle moves. It covers the steering wheel, controls and normal restraint positions. Remove it completely before driving. TESMAG wording suggesting stability “while driving” is not repeated or endorsed.

Front-seat air mattress variants

TESMAG combines three vehicle options with US, EU and UK pump styles. Every row reuses SKU ZYBH9-1, so the merchant variant ID—not the SKU—must identify an order.

The first Highland/US row has GTIN 662660916086; the others expose no GTIN. TESMAG publishes 146 × 78 cm and high-density PVC. An external pump is included, but voltage, wattage, pressure, cable length and setup time are unpublished. The prose provides no reliable box list beyond mattress and pump. Graphics show other items, but do not justify promising a bag, pillow or adapter in every regional box. Thickness, weight, folded size and load limit are also missing.

Why this format cannot be used in motion

The mattress spans the driver and passenger areas and visibly covers the steering and controls. It is not a belted passenger position or child-restraint system. Set it up only after parking securely and selecting Park; remove it before the vehicle moves. Merchant claims about children or stability while driving do not change that physical safety boundary.

The Model 3 gallery divides its 188 cm into 95, 55 and 38 cm sections; the Model Y graphic uses 95, 55 and 42 cm for 192 cm. These official seller-gallery values apply to the named legacy selectors and should not be copied to the shared Highland/Juniper row.

TESMAG describes 45D high-density MDI sponge, a 5.5 cm profile, removable zip cover, rollable format and straps for the front-seat backs. Its kit graphic depicts a blackout eye mask, elastic bed cover, load-bearing plate and tote bag. Because the prose lacks a formal box manifest, confirm those accessories for the exact variant. No pump is needed. Weight, packed size, cover fibre, foam certification, wash temperature, load limit and independent durability data are unpublished. “Odorless,” “zero-pressure,” “unmatched comfort” and “5-second setup” remain marketing, not measured findings.

The false Model Y 2017 label

The selector says Model Y 2017–2024, while TESMAG's navigation says 2020–2024. Model Y was not a 2017 production generation. The 2017 start is a listing error, not a compatibility fact. Treat this as an unresolved earlier-Model-Y selector and request confirmation for the exact production date.

The shared Highland/Juniper row also reuses SKU HBX 9 from the legacy Model 3 row. SKU reuse does not prove identical cuts. Preserve the unique merchant variant ID and obtain current dimensions if refresh-specific fit matters.

Why the gap-filler stays excluded

“Camping Extended Folding Mattresses for Tesla Model 3/Y” sounds like a third bed, but TESMAG describes it as an extension placed between another trunk mattress and the seat. Including it would confuse an accessory with a complete mattress. Non-Tesla mattresses, accessories, power devices and cases are outside this page.

Returns, currency and brand status

TESMAG publishes 30-day returns for unused goods in original packaging, with preapproval and buyer-paid freight and customs for change-of-mind returns. Damaged or incorrect items have different handling. A separate EU page describes a 14-day statutory withdrawal right. Ask how inflation or installation affects unused condition before testing a mattress.

The FAQ says all prices are USD, while the live localized pages showed NOK. We use the dated market display. TESMAG's terms permit price, stock and information changes, and no product-specific mattress warranty was found. TESMAG also states it is not affiliated with or supported by Tesla; these are not Tesla-approved or OEM accessories.

Frequently asked questions

Can the front-seat mattress be used while driving?

No. Parked use only; remove it before the vehicle moves.

Does the foam mattress fit a 2017 Model Y?

Do not rely on that label. It conflicts with TESMAG's own navigation and the vehicle timeline. Confirm the exact car with the seller.

Is the gap-filler a third mattress?

No. It is an extension used with a separate mattress.

Is a TESMAG discount guaranteed?

No. Our last recorded TESMAG code check is too old to treat as current. Confirm the exact variant and final total in the live checkout.

Verdict

TESMAG's range is one stationary front-seat air bed and one rear foam bed. The front-seat product has clear basic dimensions but unsafe merchant driving language and sparse pump data. The foam product publishes more geometry but contains a false Model Y year and ambiguous kit documentation. Match the unique variant ID, exact generation and package, and treat stock as a boolean rather than a quantity. No score is assigned without hands-on evidence.
