Three categories of Tesla mattress
- Pure foam: No pump. Unfold and sleep. Bulky to store but the most comfortable. Examples: Snuuzu.

Inflation takes 2-4 minutes and you don't carry a separate component. Older or budget mattresses use a detached pump that you plug in separately β fine, but one more thing to forget on a trip.
Battery impact
Pump operation pulls roughly 60-100W for 2-4 minutes per inflation. That's negligible for the Tesla battery β under 0.1% of total capacity. There is no reason to avoid pump-equipped mattresses on battery grounds.
