It must also match your car and model year. Havnby’s DreamShade Y/3 has Model Y 2020–2024, Model Y 2025–2026 and Model 3 variants at $69 to $99 (30 September 2026). The Model 3 set has no rear window cover. No Havnby shade publishes a blackout, temperature or insulation figure, and we have no reviewed set for the Model X or the Cybertruck. Our reviews checked them on 24 August, 16 September and 29 September 2026, and we read the US catalog again on 30 September 2026. ## What to look for in Tesla camping window shades Check these five points on the listing before you order. **Full set or windshield only** A windshield shade leaves the side and rear windows open, so people outside can still see in. For sleeping, get a full set. The DreamShade Model Y set has 8 pieces. The Model 3 set has 7 pieces and no rear window cover. **How the pieces attach** Sellers use magnets, suction cups, clips, straps or a panel that drapes over the door. No Havnby shade listing names magnets or suction cups. Model Y and Model 3 door glass has no frame. Havnby’s mesh screens slide over the door frame and make no claim about frameless glass. Ask the seller how each piece holds before you buy. **Blackout** Havnby says DreamShade “blocks light for easier naps and overnight sleep”. It gives no light-transmission figure. The withdrawn 2025 Model Y listing said “Full Blackout Coverage” with no test result. Treat blackout as a seller claim. **Insulation** Havnby names UV-blocking polyester fabric for DreamShade and gives no insulation layer or R-value. Some rival kits list a foam layer. For warmth, rely on Camp Mode and your bedding, not on the shades. **Ventilation mesh** A mesh screen goes over an open window to let air in and keep insects out. Havnby’s mesh screens list 11 vehicles and no Tesla. Tesla says the climate system works most efficiently with all windows closed. Keep one exit clear Fit only the pieces that hold securely. Do not cover a door handle or the door you will use to get out. Take all shades down before you drive. ## Tesla camping shades we track, compared We review four shade products, all from Havnby. The 2025+ car is often called Juniper, but Havnby does not use that name. Each year group comes as a 1.0 version at $69 and a 2.0 version at $99. Havnby does not explain the difference between them. Havnby’s older Window Shades listing for the 2025 Model Y is withdrawn. For a 2025–2026 Model Y, read the DreamShade Y/3 review instead. The Model Y L has its own 8-piece DreamShade kit at $109. ### Model 3, including Highland DreamShade Y/3 has one Model 3 variant at $99. It has 7 pieces and no rear window cover. Havnby gives no year range for it, so it does not say whether the set fits the refreshed Model 3, often called Highland. Ask Havnby about your build year before you order. ### Model X We have not reviewed a shade set for the Model X. Havnby’s mesh screens list other pickups, such as the Rivian R1T and the Ford F-150, but not the Cybertruck. Keep one door handle free. - **Check the air** Moisture from breath condenses on cold glass. Use air conditioning and airflow first. Havnby does not explain the difference. For the sources and check dates, open the review of the set you want. ## Window shade questions Do Havnby window shades fit the 2025 Model Y Juniper? Havnby sells DreamShade Y/3 in two Model Y 2025–2026 variants: a 1.0 version at $69 and a 2.0 version at $99 (30 September 2026). Havnby does not use the name Juniper and does not explain the difference between 1.0 and 2.0. Its older Window Shades listing for the 2025 Model Y is withdrawn. Is there a Havnby shade set for the Model 3 Highland? DreamShade Y/3 has one Model 3 variant at $99, with 7 pieces and no rear window cover. Havnby gives no year range for it, so it does not say whether it fits the refreshed Model 3. Ask Havnby about your build year before you order. Do window shades keep a Tesla warm or cool at night? Not by a measured amount. Havnby says DreamShade helps limit direct sun while the car is parked. Camp Mode keeps the cabin at the temperature you set, so rely on Camp Mode and your bedding for warmth. Can I use mesh window screens on a Tesla? Havnby’s mesh screens list 11 vehicles and no Tesla, and they make no claim about frameless door glass. An open window can let in rain and insects.
