The stores then differ: the US store (us.snuuzu.com) requires the mattress unused with the plastic seal unbroken, so an opened mattress is not returnable unless defective; the EU store (snuuzu.com) lets you unpack and inspect it as in a shop and may deduct for use. In the US store the return right ends when the sealed packaging is opened; in the EU store inspection is allowed. ## Step 1: know which store you bought from Snuuzu runs two Shopify stores with two refund policies, both read on 16 September 2026. Orders from the USA and Canada go through us.snuuzu.com and ship from Houston, Texas. Orders from Europe and the rest of the world go through snuuzu.com and ship from Uden, the Netherlands. The policy that applies is the one on the store that took your money. ## Step 2: check the 14-day window Both policies give 14 days after you receive the item to request a return. The request goes by email to Snuuzu’s support address, and Snuuzu tells you where and how to send the package if the return is accepted. Both stores exclude sale items and gift cards, and both ask you to inspect the order on arrival and report damage, defects or a wrong item immediately. ## Step 3: the seal rule, which is where the stores diverge **US store** ([policy](https://us.snuuzu.com/policies/refund-policy))**:** the item must be in the condition you received it, unused, with tags, the plastic seal unbroken and in the original packaging. The policy states that mattresses and pillows cannot be returned once the sealed packaging has been opened, unless the product is defective or damaged on arrival. In plain terms, a US buyer cannot test the mattress and send it back. **EU store** ([policy](https://www.snuuzu.com/policies/refund-policy))**:** the mattress arrives sealed for hygiene reasons, but you may unpack and inspect it to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a shop. If it has been used beyond that, for example slept on or showing stains, odours or other signs of use, Snuuzu may deduct an amount corresponding to the diminished value. Statutory rights are unaffected, and Snuuzu’s FAQ adds that return shipping is at the customer’s expense unless Snuuzu made the error. ## Step 4: the refund Snuuzu inspects the returned item, tells you whether the refund is approved, and refunds to the original payment method. Exchanges are handled as a return plus a new order. Card issuers can take additional days to post the refund. ## Warranty is a separate track [The FAQ](https://us.snuuzu.com/pages/faq) states a three-year warranty and says every part of the mattress is replaceable, including the pump. A warranty claim covers defects, not comfort or fit, and does not depend on the 14-day window. A 2025 owner review on r/TeslaCamping quoted a two-year warranty, so confirm the term in writing when you order. ## What this means before you buy In the US, decide on the strength of the published specifications, [our Model Y review](/reviews/snuuzu-model-y) or [Model 3 review](/reviews/snuuzu-model-3), and other owners’ reports, then keep the seal intact until you are sure. This is the concern a 320 lb Model Y owner raised [on r/TeslaCamping in late August 2026](https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaCamping/comments/1vyg6k6/snuuzu_for_big_folks/) when comparing Snuuzu with [Havnby](/reviews/havnby-autolevel), whose return page states a 60-day sleep trial. In the EU, inspect promptly and carefully, photograph the delivery and keep the packaging. Applying a promotion changes nothing about the seal rule, but a sale-priced item is excluded from returns in both stores; the [Snuuzu discount page](/discounts/snuuzu) explains the difference between the partner code and a sale. ## This answer may not apply if… You bought through a third-party retailer, where that retailer’s policy applies; you bought a pre-owned mattress privately; or Snuuzu has updated a policy since 16 September 2026.
