Both Snuuzu mattresses are 205 × 130 cm and cost $899 / €899 (16 September 2026), but the Model Y version has a 20 cm profile and an air layer shaped for the Model Y’s folded-seat step, while the Model 3 version is 18 cm with a layer shaped for the sedan’s steeper step. Snuuzu’s answer in both products is an air layer under the foam that fills that step and lets the sleeper adjust firmness. The two layers are cut differently. [Snuuzu’s compatibility FAQ](https://us.snuuzu.com/pages/faq), read on 16 September 2026, describes what happens when they are swapped: put a Model Y mattress in a Model 3 and the layer does not fill the deeper dip, so the hips sink slightly; put a Model 3 mattress in a Model Y and the layer is thicker than the dip it meets, so the hips ride slightly high. Snuuzu’s own summary is that either combination works but neither is ideal. ## If you own both a Model Y and a Model 3 Buy the version for the car you sleep in most. Snuuzu prices the two identically and sells no adapter, so there is no cheap way to own the right shape for both cars except buying both. If the second car is used for occasional nights, the wrong-way fit is usable; if you camp in both regularly, the second mattress is the honest answer. Note that the Model Y version is also the one Snuuzu recommends for the Model X and the 2021+ Model S, as explained in [our Model X and Model S guide](/guides/snuuzu-model-x), so a Model Y version does double duty in a mixed Tesla household that has no Model 3. ## Do the generations change the answer? No. Snuuzu states that the Model Y version fits every Model Y including the 2025 Juniper (see [our Juniper answer](/faq/does-the-snuuzu-fit-the-model-y-juniper)) and that the Model 3 version fits every Model 3 including the Highland refresh. The one vehicle without a statement is the six-seat Model Y L; ask Snuuzu before ordering for it. ## Price and returns are identical, so choose on fit alone Both versions cost $899 in the US store and €899 in the EU store on 16 September 2026, and the code AWDCAMPER took 10% off both carts in the US store that day (see the [discount page](/discounts/snuuzu)). Both carry the same return rule for their store: the US store requires an unbroken seal, the EU store allows inspection.
